St. Thomas Only Unbeaten After Win Over Kelly
St. Thomas remains the only unbeaten team in TAPPS baseball after a 5-2 win over district foe Kelly Catholic on Saturday. The Eagles move to 6-0 in district play and 27-0 on the season.

Liberty Christian Ends Prestonwood Win Streak.
Argyle Liberty Christian handed Prestonwood Christian Academy their first loss of the season in a 8-2 win on Friday night. Dawson Barr and Joey Marinello combined to hold Prestonwood scoreless through six innings. The pair had a combined eight strikeouts. The Warriors were led at the plate by Kason Howell who collected three hits and drove in two runs, ampoule including a home run. Prestonwood (11-1, health district) remains at the top of the standings in TAPPS 1-5A. Liberty Christian (10-2, cialis district) has a one game lead over Plano John Paul II in second place.

Kinkaid Routs Houston Christian
Kinkaid defeated SPC rival Houston Christian 11-1 on Saturday morning behind a big day at the plate by Johnathon Thomas. The Sophomore belted two home runs, including a grand slam. Michael Goldak also doubled twice in the game. Senior Davis Sheffield went the distance for the win, striking out 6 along the way.

Antonian Clinches District in Win
The Antonian Apaches (5-0, TAPPS 2-5A) clinched a district championship for the fourth consecutive season in a 7-2 win over Central Catholic on Saturday. Michael McElmeel earned the win for the Apaches, striking out 4 and allowing just two hits.

Northland Christian Sweeps DH
Northland Christian swept a doubleheader against Westbury Christian on Saturday, winning 11-1 and 11-0. Mike Parmely led the Cougars offensively in game 1 with 2 hits and 3 RBI. Trey Hinkle threw four innings to earn the win, striking out 8.

In the second game, Northland scored a run in the first inning and plated 4 more runs in the second inning on their way to a 11-0 win. Mike Parmely homered for the Cougars. Northland Christian moves to 6-4 in league play. Westbury Christian is winless in TAPPS 5-4A play.

Lake Country Splits Friday DH
Lake Country Christian split a doubleheader on Friday, defeating district foe Burton Adventinst 13-0. The Eagles dropped a non-district matchup to Watauga Harvest Christian 13-5 in their second game. Lake Country remains unbeaten in district play at 9-0. Harvest Christian has clinched a district championship in TAPPS 1A/2A.
