Proverbs 3:13-14 “Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold.”
Wisdom. No one would question its value. Some would not put it higher than silver or gold. That’s a shame. How do you define wisdom? A good definition is seeing things from God’s perspective and acting upon it. The world endorses striving for personal gain with little or no care for others. The Bible teaches us to do as Christ did. Love God and love others. We, in fact, become third in God’s scenario. As such, God blesses us in ways we would never expect. God’s blessings are long-lasting, especially when considering eternity. Worldly riches are short-lived. Use them to glorify God. We take none of those with us. Live life with intent to please God. Watch and marvel as you grow wise.
Lord, thank You for wisdom. Help us see life as You do. Blind us to worldly temptations. Fill us with desire to glorify You and love others.
