1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 “After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore, encourage one another with these words.”
The rapture. Jesus told us He is coming back. No one knows the day or time, but we ought to live with expectation that this might be the day. If we are living when He returns, we will instantaneously be taken from this world and the tribulations that will follow. Earthly life will go on for those left behind, and it will not be pleasant. We look at current events and anticipate how bad life will be. We in Christ must be aware, but we live with God’s assurance. We live as light during dark times, encouraging others. A vast number will scoff or ignore, but many will believe. We must live with anticipation of His return. We do so joyfully in the midst of birthing signs.
Lord, thank You for anticipation of the rapture. Fill us with courage and hope to live in a way that pleases You and attracts others. Nothing is a surprise to You.
Be an encourager today.
