2 Corinthians 1:12 “Now, this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity.”
Those with whom you associate should note a difference in your daily living, compared to those who are not born-again. Rules of thumb should include the absence of gossip, slander, profanity, fits of rage, selfish ambition, etc. Instead, those with Christ demonstrate “integrity and godly sincerity.” In other words, living the ways of God’s teaching: looking up and looking outward with demonstrated actions. Actions speak louder than words. It’s hard living in the world without falling to its temptations, but the Holy Spirit reminds us of God’s way before every action. Yes, there will be slips from time to time. God understands and hears the confession of a repentant heart. Rise and sin no more! What a blessing. Make it your daily goal to boast solely in living with “integrity and godly sincerity.”
Lord, thank You for the Holy Spirit and examples of others who walk in godly sincerity. Fill us each day with conscious resolve to walk in a way that pleases You.
Seek integrity and godly sincerity today.
