Four athletes from the Texas Running Center High School Elite team participated in the Texas A&M High School Indoor Classic on Saturday January 9, 2016. Reagan Mead, Will McIlroy, and Luis Suaste (pictured in the photo) all ran a double competing in both the boys one and two mile events. Cryslan Trucker participated in the girls 1 mile. Will had PR’s in both the one and two mile runs bettering both both his indoor and outdoor marks for both events. Luis also had PR in the two mile. He bettered both his indoor or outdoor efforts to date as well. Reagan preformed well despite having had a hernia operation. The operation took place after he helped his team, Cleburne HS, win the state cross country title.

Joe Boyle, Texas Running Center Elite HS team coach, stated he was “Extremely excited for all these Texas RC HS Elite athletes. They all exceeded predicted expectations at this indoor meet at Texas A&M today. They have been training smart in preparation for outdoor spring season and are all fantastic young men and woman and are “Super Athletes.””
