Prestonwood Sweeps Nolan Catholic
After a 10-1 win at Nolan on Tuesday, Prestonwood Christian Academy returned home and completed the sweep with a 6-1 win on Wednesday. Alex Scherff went six innings for the Lions and stuck out eleven. Prestonwood remains unbeaten in 2016.

St. Thomas Beats Rival St. Pius X 6-1
St. Thomas defeated St. Pius X 6-1 on Tuesday evening to keep their season-long unbeaten streak alive. Senior Cameron Cash picked up the win throwing five shutout innings. The Eagles have not lost in 25 games this season.

Antonian Takes Control in District 2 With Win over Central
The Antonian Apaches defeated district rival Central Catholic 4-2 on Wednesday evening, pushing their district record to a league best 4-0. Starter Maddux Solomon threw 4+ innings to earn the victory. Solomon also led the Apaches at the plate collecting two hits and driving in two runs. Central Catholic’s C.J. Marks went the distance for the Buttons, striking out five. Marks held the Apaches scoreless the final five innings after surrendering three runs in the first inning and a run in the second inning. Michael McElmeel worked the final two and a third innings to earn the save.
