Richard Scofield passes away
Just got word that Coach Richard Scofield suffered a massive heart attack today and passed away. Coach Scofield was the boys basketball coach at Liberty Christian and announced his retirement from coaching at the end of this season though he was to remain a teacher at Liberty.
Please pray for the Scofield family and the Liberty family.

Shocking news. Met him a couple of times over the past few years and was always kind and gracious. Watched him coach at our place just a few weeks ago in our last playoff game and truly appreciated his style and demeanor. I remarked how his son was such a fine player.
Condolences and prayers sent to his family and LCS from the DC family.
