Liberty Christian graduate Brad Lundblade returned to Waco on Saturday night, where he made his first start two seasons ago for Oklahoma State, and the Cowboys suffered the same fate, dropping a game to the Baylor Bears 35-24. Lundblade came to OSU as a walk-on two seasons ago and earned the starting center position and eventually a scholarship. Since that first start in Waco in 2014, Lundblade has started 17 straight games.
Darrion Daniels, a sophomore and Bishop Dunne graduate, saw time on the defensive line for the Cowboys. Daniels recorded one assist in the loss. Daniels returns after being named the team’s outstanding newcomer last season.
Another Bishop Dunne graduate also played on Saturday night. Ishmael Wilson, a junior for Baylor, started at guard on the o-line which allowed just one sack in the win over the Cowboys.
