LSCSN Power Rankings – Week 5

TAPPS – Division I
1. Bishop Dunne
Dunne easily handled JPII. Next up: Nolan.

2. St. Pius X
SPX remains at 2, the Panthers beat up on El Campo, will face Stafford next week.

3. St. Thomas
The Eagles rebounded from the tough loss at Episcopal and defeated Angleton 31-14 in week 5.

4. Prestonwood
Offense was potent again versus TCA, scored 60+ for second consecutive game.

5. Bishop Lynch
Friars take over the number 5 spot this week with an impressive win over Midland Christian. Lynch could get the third spot in the highly competitive District 1.

TAPPS – Division II
1. Parish Episcopal
Still the number 1 in Division II.

2. Dallas Christian
Chargers squashed any talk of Brook Hill challenging for the district title in a 55-7 thrashing of the Guard.

3. Ft. Worth Christian
Cardinals defense strong again giving up just 13 points to Grace Prep, they will get a bigger test next week versus Grapevine Faith.

4. Lutheran South
62-0 win over a struggling Danbury team, will go on the road against Concordia Lutheran next week.

5. TK Gormam
Crusaders easily handled Shelton in week 5, will play Prince of Peace next week.

TAPPS – Division III
1. Shiner St. Paul
Cardinals took a while to get going against Schertz JPII. Defense shined again in shutout win.

2. Trinity Christian Cedar Hill
Tigers offense put up 49 this week. We don’t expect much of a challenge to the Tigers anytime soon.

3. Temple Christian (Ft. Worth)
42-6 winner over Fellowship, next up Muenster Sacred Heart in week 6.

4. Sacred Heart (Hallettsville)
Won a weather delayed game against CTCS, giving up just one score. Up to number 4 this week after Reicher lost at home.

5. Lubbock Christian/McKinney Christian/The Woodlands Christian
Hard to pick the number 5 spot this week. McKinney beat Reicher on the road, Lubbock Christian had a huge win, and The Woodlands Christian beat a rising Brazos Christian team.

1. Episcopal
Knights were completely dominant against St. Johns.

2. All Saints
Anthony and crew put up 40+ again, defense shutout Country Day. Next week at home versus Trinity Valley.

3. Episcopal School of Dallas
ESD goes on the road, defeats Houston Christian 35-17, and takes over the 3 spot.

4. Houston Christian
Mustangs drop week 5 showdown with ESD, still one of the best 4 teams in SPC at this point.

5. Oakridge
Owls win another in week 5 versus Greenhill, remain undefeated.
