Another behemoth of a volleyball tournament in the ASC Nike Denton Ryan Classic finds a handful of Texas private and parochial school programs.
Just like Pearland ISD’s Texas Volleyball Invitational / John Turner Classic, the Denton Ryan Classic will feature 79 different high schools tomorrow and Saturday.
Almost half of them – 37, to be exact – got underway on Thursday.
Four TAPPS schools – Argyle Liberty Christian, Fort Worth Nolan, Fort Worth Lake Country Christian and Dallas Parish Episcopal and one SPC school – Dallas The Hockaday School – are taking part.
All but Liberty Christian and Lake Country Christian played on Thursday in Division II Power Pools action.
Parish Episcopal took a pair, while Nolan split their two matches and Hockaday lost both of their contests.
