Football Power Rankings – Week 7

TAPPS Division I
1. St. Pius X – Panthers took a 500+ mile road trip and soundly defeated a good Levelland team. Offense put up Madden-type numbers again.

2. Prestonwood – Lions move up after taking down Lynch by a touchdown, still have Dunne and TCA on the schedule.

3. Addison TCA – Trojans move back into the top 5 after big win at Bishop Dunne.

4. Bishop Dunne – Falcons struggling on offense, look to rebound against Parish before the big showdown with Prestonwood.

5. Antonian – One of two unbeaten teams in D-I, Apaches stay put during the bye week. Next up is game against former Division I foe, Cathedral.

OUT: Bishop Lynch – Friars’ last three games all decided by one score, this week they come up just short against district leader Prestonwood.

TAPPS Division II
1. Dallas Christian – Chargers took down a much-improved Prince of Peace squad, 42-7.

2. Holy Cross – Knights postponed their game with San Antonio Christian until Saturday and rode the bus home with a 22-9 win.

2. Regents – Coming off bye week, Knights hit the road and defeated Cornerstone 56-9.

4. Ft. Worth Christian – Cardinals take down Frisco Legacy Christian 59-21. FWC is off this week before finishing the schedule with Faith, Southwest Christian, and a home date with Midland Christian.

5. Midland Christian – Mustangs rolled off 40 straight points against Grapevine Faith and work their way into the top 5 after a brutal pre-district schedule.

OUT: Grapevine Faith – Lions had a tough time in Midland after jumping out to a 14-point lead. RB Keyshawn Wyatt ran for 300+ yards and leads the state in rushing.

TAPPS Division III
1. Northland Christian – 90-7 winners. No mercy showed by the Cougars.

2. Cypress Christian – Warriors beat a struggling Bay Area Christian team, 51-13.

3. Colleyville Covenant – Cougars a 49-6 winner over Kennedale Fellowship.

4. Ft. Worth Temple Christian – Eagles over Pantego, 41-0. D-III game of the week versus Colleyville Covenant looms this week.

5. Geneva School of Boerne – Eagles are playing extremely well and have a win over powerhouse Shiner St. Paul already.

OUT: Flower Mound Coram Deo – Lions couldn’t handle Grace Prep (31-14).

1. Episcopal – Different week, same story. Knights hit 60 again in 62-14 win versus ESD.

2. All Saints – Saints traveled to St. Johns and won 43-19.

3. Houston Christian – Mustangs very impressive the last two weeks, win their Homecoming 42-17 over St. Marks.

4. Kinkaid – Kinkaid rebounds and takes down a tough Concordia Lutheran team. This week, they travel to face ESD.

5. Episcopal School of Dallas – Eagles the latest victim of EHS. Big game this week versus Kinkaid.
