Football Power Rankings – Week 5

TAPPS Division I
1. St. Pius X – Panthers absolutely dominated the Rudder Rangers on the road and take over the top spot.

2. Bishop Dunne – Falcons needed a blocked punt late to beat Lynch at home. Falcons will need to find a spark offensively to get through District 1 unbeaten.

3. Bishop Lynch – The Friars were within a score of taking down number one squad in week five, on the road.

4. Prestonwood – Lions dismantled Liberty Christian to the tune of 57-20.

5. Antonian – Lone undefeated team in District 2. Apaches edged out Concordia for fifth spot.

Brownsville St. Joseph – Bloodhounds dropped a close one to Port Isabel for first loss of the season.

TAPPS Division II
1. Dallas Christian – Chargers get last-minute win on the road at Grace.

2. Holy Cross – The Knights opened district with win over Saint Mary’s Hall.

2. Regents – Knights get big win over St. Michaels going into the bye week.

4. Ft. Worth Christian – Cardinals keep on rolling with win over UIL Whitesboro.

5. Grapevine Faith – Lions defense gets another shutout in 45-0 win versus Kerens.

TAPPS Division III
1. Northland Christian – A 63-0 winner over Bay Area Christian in week 5, competition gets tougher in week 6 against Woodlands Christian. Expect more of the same from the Cougars.

2. Cypress Christian – Warriors took on their toughest challenge to date and came away a 34-8 winner over Beaumont Legacy.

3. Shiner St. Paul – Cardinals back on track in 42-6 win over Brentwood Christian.

4. Colleyville Covenant – Cougars went on the road and dominated a D-II squad in Frisco Legacy Christian. Cougars get another chance to prove their strength in week 6 matchup against Southwest Christian.

5. Ft. Worth Temple Christian – Eagles played up in week 5 against Southwest Christian and suffered first loss of the season.

1. Episcopal – Knights get 50-point win over St. Thomas. Could have been worse.

2. All Saints – Saints finding a groove, big winner over ESD in week 5.

3. Episcopal School of Dallas – Eagles dropped one to All Saints and hang in at number three. Team gets a home matchup versus Houston Christian in week 6.

4. Kinkaid – Falcons pound St. Marks at home. Which Kinkaid team shows up this week versus EHS? Can they repeat the upset from 2015 championship game?

5. Houston Christian – Mustangs fall flat in loss to previously winless St. Johns
