FH: Five Texans Named to Max Field Hockey Watch List; 19 on NCAA Division I Rosters

Five Texans – four seniors and a junior, all with verbal commitments to NCAA colleges — were named Wednesday to Max Field Hockey’s 2019 West/Midwest Region Player Watch List.

The 40-women Watch List includes the following young ladies from four SPC schools and one TAPPS school:

  • Kate Aibinder, M, Senior, Houston St. John’s School (Penn verbal commit)
  • Harper Dunne, M, Senior, Fort Worth Trinity Valley School (Iowa verbal commit)
  • Lane Herbert, M, Junior, Addison Greenhill School (Northwestern verbal commit)
  • Ariel Schumacher, M/F, Senior, Houston Duchesne Academy (Lafayette verbal commit)
  • Annabel Skubisz, GK, Senior, Houston The Kinkaid School (Stanford verbal commit)

There are 78 schools who play NCAA Division I field hockey and started their seasons on Friday, August 30.

The Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) championships will be hosted by Saint Mary’s Hall School in San Antonio on Friday-Saturday, October 25-26, 2019, while St. John’s School and The Kinkaid School will co-host the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) championships two weeks later on Thursday-Saturday, November 7-9, 2019.
