Brentwood Clinches District at Vanguard
Brentwood Christian (10-1, physician district) traveled to Waco on Monday and earned the top playoff spot in TAPPS 4-3A with a 4-1 win over the Vanguard Vikings (9-2, sales district). Brentwood got all they needed in the first inning putting two runs on the board. The Vikings managed just two hits off of Brentwood starter Diego Escabedo. The sophomore went the distance, yielding just one run, and striking out 14. Brentwood Christian can clinch an outright district championship with a win over Central Texas Christian on Tuesday.

Legacy Downs Dallas Christian 4-1
Tanner Lee was dominant on the mound for Frisco Legacy Christian as the Eagles downed Dallas Christian 4-1 on Monday evening. Lee went the distance for the Eagles to pickup the win while striking out 13. With the win, Legacy (10-4, TAPPS 2-4A) clinches at least a share of the district championship and will claim the title outright if TK Gorman can earn at least a split series with Brook Hill. Legacy and Brook Hill split their season series.

NCS, Fouts Shutout LSA
Northland Christian ran their win streak to four games with a 3-0 win over Lutheran South on Monday night. Senior Noah Fouts tossed a complete game, striking out six along the way. With the win, the Cougars moved a half game ahead of Emery Weiner in the district standings and can move into second place behind Second Baptist with a win over Cypress Christian on Tuesday. Emery Weiner holds the tiebreaker with the Cougars after winning the season series.

Brazos Christian Clinches District in 9-8 Win Over Rosehill
Brazos Christian stayed undefeated in TAPPS 6-1A/2A play after defeating Rosehill Christian 9-8 on Monday evening in a game played at the Franklin Ranch. Brazos Christian trailed 7-3 in the fourth inning when Garrett Fleming connected for a grand slam to tie the game, his third HR of the season. Brazos Christian would add two more runs after walking with the bases loaded and hang on for the victory. Brazos Christian is now 8-0 in league play and has clinched a district championship.
